An Illinois workers’ compensation commission official is still trying to claim more than $25,000 in a disability claim, years after being fired from her job.
The woman, Jennifer Carrill, was involved in a few workers’ compensation cases that resulted in investigations. Carrill’s own disability claim was for her right arm, in which she says she has lingering discomfort as a result of walking her large dog. To complicate matters, Carrill had previously stated that the arm injury did not hinder her ability to do her job whatsoever.
